Makinde makes new appointments

Seyi Makinde, Oyo state governor, this afternoon, sworn in three commissioners as members of the Oyo State Executive Council.

According to Makinde, "It was an honour to welcome them as part of our administration. Our promise was to run an all-inclusive government. Our priority is to deliver on the promises we made to our people."

The three commissioners and their portfolios are:
Professor Raphael Afonja - Commissioner for Works

Mr Oluwaseun Fakorede - Commissioner for Youth and Sports 

Alhaja Fausat Joke Sanni - Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community Development, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation
