Ali Baba, the ‘Godfather’ of comedy thrilled London yesterday, 25th August 2019 at as he finally brought his brand to the UK for the first time tagged Fina-Ali.
Ali Baba who has been a professional stand up comedian for the past 30 years and has received several awards, including Comedian of the Decade at the National Daily Awards.
He has supported, mentored and presented several comedians helping to ensure that standards are maintained and professionalism encouraged.
Despite being generally accepted as the foremost comedian in Nigeria, the veteran was not ready to rest on his oars just yet. Ali Baba remains an entertainer, a comedian, a master of ceremonies, radio show host, motivational speaker, photographer, writer and has a strong flair for creating and developing ideas.
The London event featured star guests such as Tuface, Gbenga Adeyinka De 1st, Yibokoko, Dan de Humorous, Jedi, Waje, Kenny Blaq, Dj Cuppy, Koskori, and Ian Irving to mention but a few.
The event housed a very high number of delegates from London and other countries.
The entertainment industry both home and away showed up to honour the king of stand-up comedy. The likes of Tunde and Wunmi Obe, Kunle Afolayan all attended and stayed till the end.
The Nigeria High Commisioner was also present to grace the notable event as well as other respectable dignitaries
